I only knew Jack through curling. He was a wonderful gentleman who enjoyed the game so much. He was still beating much younger curlers up until the day he left the club. He will certainly be missed. Condolences to the Rumney family.

Dear Wendy & John, we were so sorry to hear of Jack's death. He was so much a part of our Richmond Hill life. He was always such a friendly presence at the Curling Club, a draw for us to Wilson Niblett when looking for a new car but mostly as a neighbour. We learned so much from he and Marg when we arrived, as new home owners in '79, and over the years a significant number of plants travelled along Centre Street being moved from one yard to the other and then of course we always had to check on the progress of the transplants! Our thoughts are with you at this time.
