My condolences to Jim's family , Jim was a very kind caring person and not shy always saying hello.
I found out that Jim worked with my father en-law, in my father en-laws business called goodenough electric, he also remembered my husband from years past which was amazing, after I found that out Jim would always say to me say hi to your husband. it was a blessing to know that .
I will always remember him as someone who loved the Lord, and his family, as he also looked after his precious wife before she passed on. He was always smiling, always saying praise God he will be missed very much!
Love and prayers to his family, Sincerely Barbara Goodenough.

"Precious memories, how they linger
How they ever flood my soul"
Many old stories of Brother Jim's childhood – little Jimmy deliveries on his bicycle
Of his loving late wife Evelyn- Their service at the Salvation Army (cornet and piano)
And his children and grand children. Little Riley and the dogs. He loved the Lord and his church
Fond memories of road trips, the butter tarts, fish and chips, singing the old hymns
At the end, precious sacred scenes unfold
Oh! Brother Jim gleefully rejoicing, smiling to “All The Way my Saviour Leads me”
Lifting his hand in worship to "To God be the Glory."
"Precious memories, how they linger, ever near me"
So many precious memories fill my soul.

I offer my condolences and sympathy to Elaine, Pauline and family, as well as the entire Simms' generation including siblings, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, neighbors, church family and anyone acquainted with the late beloved Brother Jim Simms. I am sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
He was dearly loved and already greatly missed.

He is no longer here. Hallelujah! He is somewhere around the Throne of God. Well done Brother Jimmy.
