MADILL, Verna (nee Clarke)
30 January 1932 – 27 January 2021
At Mackenzie Health LTC, after a lengthy illness, Verna Madill, beloved wife of Lorne Madill (1992) and Martyn Hedges (2017). Loving mother of Lorna (Keith Caines) and Barbara (Jon Allison). Proud Nanny of grandchildren: Kate (Paul), Shawn (Candace), Jill (Sean) and Britton (Adam) and great-grandchildren: Clarke, Claire & Colin Zonneveld; Harper & Nixon Mehew; and Rory McCarney. Predeceased by siblings Ruth (Dick) Nuttall, Norman (Jean) Clarke, Doris (Bob) Sherman and Audrey (Ross) McClymont.
Postmaster of Concord, ON 1963 – 1988.
The family would like to thank the 3rd floor staff at Mackenzie for the excellent care Mum received the past 2-1/2 years. We would also like to express our great respect to the entire staff for your efforts in keeping residents & family safe throughout this past difficult year.
A private interment will take place January 30th at Maple Cemetery, Vaughan, ON. If you wish, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
