Obituary

Raffaele Rossi
January 2, 1928 - April 2, 2021

Beloved husband of Rosina for 71 years. Devoted father to Carlo (Catherine) and predeceased by son Gary (Terri). Dear brother to Vincenzo (Lucia). Predeceased by sister Fragolina and brother Gino. Adoring Nonno to Christina (Alexander), Michael (Carina) and Jessica (Gary).
Bisnonno to James, Alistair, Cecilia and Miles. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, friends and good neighbours. A retired, long term caretaker of the York Catholic District School Board, he will be remembered by many staff and students. He was a kind and humble man who worked hard his whole life to provide for his family. We will miss his veggies from the garden, his homemade wine and sausages, but mostly his quiet demeanour and smile.
May he Rest In Peace 🙏

Mr. Rossi, grew up as neighbours, loved your smile, your waves and always sweeping your driveway after cutting Mom and Dad's lawn, you will be missed. I remember those days of you making tomato sauce to growing your garden, it was always a pleasure visiting you and your family when these events were going on. May you rest in peace and know you will always have a special place in my heart. Thanks for being an awesome neighbour while I was growing up.
Kathy Sampson (nee Butt) and Family.

Mr Rossi, I have known you for many years from my days as a Student at our Lady Help of Christian's school on Bayview Ave and our families being neighbors on our street for many years. I will miss those days when walking down Alper Street and your smile always in us greeting each other. It leaves a lasting imprint when I think of you. It is little things like that I cherish the most. You are missed by those you impacted and by me. Your neighbor. Thank you for being you. Always Mark Davis
