Monica Lisa Duke
August 21, 1966 - April 22, 2021
In her 55th year, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Monica after a courageous battle with cancer.
Predeceased by her parents, Allan and Nora Stansal and chosen family to all the residents and staff at the Thicketwood home within Community Living York South.
Monica brought love, light and laughter to everyone she met. Her infectious clapping and happy demeanor will be immensely missed by all who knew her.
A private service to take place Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Marshall Funeral Home, with interment at Elgin Mills Cemetery.
Support staff for Monica wish to thank everyone for their unwavering support during this extremely difficult time.
A celebration of life to take place when it is safe to do so.
Donations may be made in her memory to Community Living York South.
