Passed away peacefully at home on Saturday May 29, 2021; in her 77th year. Beloved sister of Bill Schmidt, sister-in-law of Pat Schmidt and devoted Aunt of Eileen Hillson (Schmidt), John Schmidt and Carolyn Schmidt. Proud Great Aunt to Peter Hillson, Sarah Hillson, Thomas Hillson, Michael Hillson, Garnett Schmidt, Hunter Keir and Caitlin Keir. Merry grew up in Chatham, Ontario and spent much of her adult life in Toronto, Ontario. Merry's forceful yet cheerful personality, radiant smile, bright red lipstick and thoughtful jesters will always be remembered. As per Merry's wishes cremation has taken place.
