Avenhaus, Martin – Peacefully on Thursday April 1, 2021 at Humber River Hospital Wilson after a long fight against renal disease. Martin, beloved husband of Margarete (nee Knoll). Loving father to Anita (Enrico). Proud Opa of Nicole and Derek. Dear cousin to Marlene (Jim). Thank you to all of our family and friends who supported us during this difficult time. Martin will be greatly missed by all who knew him, he was kind and he was a gentleman. A very heartfelt thank you to all the wonderful people who helped Martin over the years, especially the staff at the Humber River Hospital Kidney Clinic Church St. A celebration of life will be held in Martin’s honour when friends and family may gather freely once again. Donations in memory of Martin may be made to the Humber River Hospital Foundation.
