Park, Lynn (66 years old) (Richmond Hill)
Partner and Wife of David Park, married for 44 wonderful years, they were married on May 27, 1978. Loved Mom to Michael and Kelly Park. She was the second of four children of Helen Ransom and Harold Mabley. Sister to Dawn Whitmore, Eric Mabley, and Scott Mabley. Aunt to Philip Mabley, Nicki Mabley, Brad Whitmore, Matt Whitmore, Brett Mabley. Cousin of Danny Ransom, Betty Ransom, Doug Moore, Dave Moore, Anne Viets, and Mary Kovacevich. Daughter in law to Jim Park and Mildred Lambe. Sister in law to Neil Park and Shirin Park.
Lynn passed suddenly on Monday, December 12, 2022, at Mackenzie Health Hospital in Richmond Hill. Dave, Mike, and Kelly were by her side.
There is a hole in the hearts of many people at this sudden loss. Best friend to many. Lynn made an impact on people and was loved. She was kind, intelligent, strong (and stubborn), had a great ability to laugh and truly cared for people. Greatly admired and respected by friends and colleagues at Sixteenth Avenue Public School and other educational places she worked over her long and dedicated career in Education.
Lynn was recently retired and had begun to enjoy her new time off at the cottage with Dave. They had plans and hopes to travel to explore new places and enjoy retirement together.
Please join us to celebrate and remember Lynn on Sunday, December 18. The service will begin at 1pm with visitation starting at 12pm. People are welcome to share stories and speak during the service. Reception to follow on-site at Marshall Funeral Home in Richmond Hill, 10366 Yonge Street.
