Lino Di Iorio passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023, with his loving wife of nearly 54 years, Lynne, by his side. He was always a supportive and proud father to Christie (Troy), Elio (Erin) and Anthony, and grandfather to James (Kayleigh), Eliot, Kate, Hayley, Ali, Lin and Evelin. Born on March 2, 1948, in Pietrabbondante, Italy, he came to Canada in 1954 with his parents Elio and Aliessina and his brothers Alex (Bruna) and Jerry (Louise), where he built a remarkable life as an entrepreneur, innovator and inventor. After a successful career in the building industry, he went on to invent the BalancePlus curling shoe and make his mark internationally as a curling coach and mentor. He will be missed immensely by his family and many friends around the world.In lieu of flowers donations to Hill House Hospice, where he recived such kindness and care, or Covenant House would be appreciated.
