Our deepest sympathy to you all - Jean, Charles, Helen, Wayne and families. We wish we could physically get together to remember and celebrate Kurt and the adventures he had in his 85 years. Kurt was the first person we met when we moved into the neighbourhood. We remember him for his warm, friendly neighbourly chats, outgoing nature, and huge smiles. He'd crack us up. We miss his presence. The neighbourhood is too quiet now:)

Our deepest condolences to you Jean in having lost a very loving and devoted husband, and your family, at the loss of a very caring and loving Dad, and Grandad; as well as to you Linda for having lost your dear brother.
Kurt was Erich's high school friend, and became a family friend. Kurt was always ready with a smile, and conversation came easily to him. He just loved being with people and loved life. Kurt was an adventurer, and thrived in exploring new places, and meeting new people. Kurt had this positive, loving energy about him, and one always felt either invigorated, or inspired, or just felt better after having been with him. Kurt was the ultimate handy man, and could fix almost anything. Great guy to have around. Kurt had a heart of gold, which he shared with everyone he met.
Unfortunately for a very independent and fun loving soul, the last few years of confinement & isolation in the nursing home were very difficult, not only for Kurt, but for Jean and their whole family.
We thank you Kurt for having been part of our lives, enriching, & brightening our days when we were together.
Now you can continue to share your love from above with your family, and those of us still living, as well as to all those you're with now.
Farewell Kurt, till we meet again, with much love, Hilda and Erich
