Obituary for Joan Bagley
It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of our mother, Joan Bagley, on Wednesday November 23rd, 2022.
Mom was born in England on February 23, 1924 and came to Canada in 1946 after marrying Canadian soldier Robert William Bagley. Together they built their log home in Richmond Hill where they raised their family and where Mom still resided until her passing. Many meals and cups of tea were prepared and enjoyed by family and friends over the years. Mom would always ensure everyone had enough to eat, even if it meant she would go without. Predeceased by her husband of 72 years, Robert, in 2015. She will be forever remembered by her children, John (Diane), David (Frances) & Lynn (Cecil) their spouses, 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren & 5 great great grandchildren.
As per Mom’s wishes, there will be no funeral. Cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Hill House Hospice, Richmond Hill.
The tea pot is now “empty”.
