Obituary for Ivy Hardy
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ivy Alice Hardy (nee Noronha) on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at the Mackenzie Health Long Term Care facility. She lost her battle with cancer after fighting bravely for over 4 years.
Predeceased by her parents Mafalda and Elias Noronha and by her loving husband, Alan Hardy.
Survived by her only sister Olivia (Francis), her nephews Ken (Dorothy - Juliana, Jacqueline, Jillian and Daniel) & David (Chantal - Abigail) and niece Cheryl (Scott - Parker, Quinn and Riese).
Ivy was a long time employee of Manulife Financial. She was a resident of Richmond Hill for over 40 years.
We are thankful to all the frontline workers involved in her care over the years from Southlake Regional Health Centre, RCC and Mackenzie Health Centre.
A funeral service in memory of Ivy's life will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at Marshall Funeral Home in Richmond Hill, ON. Given the current COVID-19 pandemic, the service is limited to immediate family only.
