Devoted wife of the late Carman (2004) for 54 years, loving and supportive mother of Paul (LuAnn) and David (Cathy), Ivadel Wraggett passed away Saturday December 5, 2020, peacefully at North York General Hospital. Exceptionally proud Grandmother to Andrew and Sarah, devoted Aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, her generosity and kindness will be missed by many.
Born in Melancthon township at the family farm, Ivadel was the 3rd youngest of 8 children, and is survived by sisters Bertha and Elva. Although Ivadel worked at the Toronto Star for more than 30 years, it will be memories of socializing and food, whether at Banfield church, at home, Stayner camp or family gatherings, that many will remember fondly. Everyone was always welcome!
Keeping with the restrictions from the Covid pandemic, a family internment service will be held at the Shelburne Cemetery, conducted by Marshall Funeral Home.

Tim & I send love to the family - only fond memories of dear Ivadel. How she cared for the Banfield Kitchen and Hospitality over so many years, before I was allowed to take over. What an example of sharing and kindness. Much love to the boys and extended family.

I'm so sad to hear about the the passing of Mrs. Wraggett. My earliest memory of being at Banfield was of her as my Sunday School teacher in the Beginner's Class. I would only have been 3 or 4 years old, but her gentle and kind heart stood out to me. She continued to be such a huge part of that community. She was always there serving meals and lovingly caring everyone she met. She lived a beautiful life and now is reunited with Mr. Wraggett. Love and condolences to Paul, David and the entire family, Especially thinking of Mrs. Jackson as well in loss of her dear sister.
