Obituary for Grace Isabel Chenette
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Grace Isabel (nee Donnelly) Chenette, peacefully with family by her side, on Monday December 19th 2022 at Mackenzie Health. Born March 10th 1930 she was 92 years old. Predeceased by her Loving husband Armand (Rocky) Chenette. Loving mother of Donna Logue (nee Chenette) and Mickey Chenette. Adoring grandmother to George, Graeme, Jaime and Emilie, and delighted great grandmother of 8. She was also a special Aunt to so many more.
Devoted to family she loved nothing better then family times together. She enjoyed a long career in catering working for Simpsons and later Hudson's Bay in Toronto. She was always counted on for making those special fancy sandwiches for local organizations like the King City Lions Club. She was a long time member of Sacred hearts Church's Catholic Woman’s League. And she received Volunteer of The year Award from King Township in appreciation for all of her volunteer work.
A cremation has taken place and a private family funeral followed by a celebration of life will take place in the spring of 2023.
