Obituary for Danilo Cremonese

Danilo Cremonese

Beloved husband, father, and Nonno, Danilo passed into eternal rest on the morning of October 11, 2022, at 92 years of age, in his home at Valley Vista Retirement Residence with family by his side. He is dearly cherished by his wife of 64 years, Adele, his three children Gabriella (David), Joanne (Dennis), and Anthony (Rachel) his eight grandchildren Julia (Mark), Paolo (Sonia), Cristina (Gabriel), Lucas, Jonathan, Liliana, Paulina, Noah, and his great grandson, Gabriel.

Born on September 28, 1930 in Fagarè, Treviso, Italy, Danilo grew up in Cinto Caomaggiore the eldest of 9 siblings.
He met his wife after arriving to Canada in his mid-twenties. He was a devoted husband and father, and had a strong work ethic, always driven and eager to get things accomplished. Following retirement, he volunteered his time to community and Church services for many years.

Most of all though, Danilo had a passion for spending time with his family, gathering together, and sharing Italian traditions.
He loved singing little rhymes and making practical jokes.
He was caring, kind, devoted, and faith-filled, always ready to offer help whenever needed. He lived a happy and fulfilled life.

Danilo will be dearly missed by his family and friends. We are grateful to everyone who helped to care for Danilo in his last few years.

Visitation will be held at Marshall Funeral Home, Richmond Hill, on Thursday October 13th, 2-4:00pm and 5:30-8:30pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Immaculate Roman Catholic Church, Richmond Hill, on Friday October 14th, at 1:30pm, with internment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
