It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Corrie
Brouwer/Lubberden, of Richmond Hill on 19th of May, at the age of 90.
Predeceased by her husband Marienus (Rienus) Brouwer, and son Robert (Bob) Brouwer.
Survived by son Richard (Susan) and daughter Anita. Grandchildren Tania (Rob), Patrick
(Angie), Adam, Philip, Peter, Elaine (Bruce) and Rachel (Julian). Great-grandchildren Jace,
Torin, Ivy, Logan, Oliver, Hannah.
Corrie and her family moved to Richmond Hill in the 50’s from the Netherlands/Holland.
In addition to being a wife and mother, she loved to knit and sew and was seamstress to
many over the years. Her knitting skills could be considered an art and she knit at least 100
baby bunting bags for both family and friends throughout her 90 years. Corrie will truly be
missed. A celabration of life will be at a later time.
