I always enjoyed hearing stories from Alf at our far too few breakfast sessions, or chats. He would often speak proudly of his past, but really took pleasure in stories of his family & friends. He would share photos or articles he kept as mementos & would always remember to bring them to our next breakfast or have them in his van/SUV to share the next time we saw each other. He listened intently to all & was just as happy to hear our stories, even if he had already heard them a million times before – he was a perfect gentleman, a kind man & one of the good guys. I am going to miss him; I am truly sorry for your loss. You will all be in my thoughts & prayers. With my deepest sympathy & condolences ….. Tony D’Agostino

John, Paul and Brent,
I was so saddened to hear of the passing of your dad. I have such fond memories of Uncle Alf. He was an amazing man and always had a smile on his face. He will be missed so much. He is at peace now and has great company in heaven. I’ve shared a few photos from some of dads albums that I hope you’ll enjoy. With love, Janet and Ken Brown
