Obituary for Albert Kehrli

ALBERT KEHRLI – April 19, 2024, age 92

Born in Switerland November 19, 1931, Albert immigrated to Canada April 19, 1950, working briefly in farming, then construction, and then a 30 year career as a home fuel oil delivery driver for Elias Rogers (later Texaco), until his early retirement when Texaco was sold.

Over the years Albert was an active member of the Foresters, the Lions Club, the Swiss Club, the Swiss Rifle Club and the Thornhill Cruisers antique car club, and loved spending his time outdoors.
His health declined quickly recently, and he decided to take advantage of the MAID program rather than suffer a further decline.

Predeceased by his loving wife of 60 years Nancy, he is survived by his children Grant (Lisa), Lynn (Sylvio), and his sisters Heidi and Ruth.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1PM October 5, 2024, the anniversary of Nancy’s service, at Marshall Funeral Home, 10366 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill. Donations to Dying with Dignity, Multiple Sclerosis, or the Terry Fox Foundation, in lieu of flowers, are requested.
